Takatora Kureshima, ou Armored Rider Zangetsu, é o encarregado pela divisão japonesa da Corporação Yggdrasil e a direciona para encontrar um meio de salvar a humanidade da invasão da floresta Helheim.
Frio e realista, Takatora sabe que não conseguirá salvar o mundo inteiro, optando pela solução de salvar um bilhão de pessoas (1/7 da população mundial) através da produção em massa dos Sengoku Drivers, que possibilita a sobrevivência do usuário convertendo a nociva fruta de Helheim em uma lockseed e fornecendo nutrição quando encaixada no driver.
Além de ser o Armored Rider mais forte e experiente (pelo menos apenas com o Driver básico), é o único a não usar outros armamentos além do Melon Arms durante a série.
Porém, no Hyper Battle DVD usa os armamentos de morango, uva e manga. No filme crossover com Kamen Rider Wizard usa o armamento do Kamen Rider Fourze.
Interpretado por Yuki Kubota, é um rosto familiar para quem já assistiu Garo, onde interpretou Kakashi e anteriormente Juran. Também atuou no musical de Sengoku Basara, interpretando Date Masamune.

A caixa segue o padrão da série, dessa vez com a janela inspirada na lockseed de melão (LS-04).
A roupa base é bem simples e segue o mesmo desenho da roupa base do Gaim, sendo apenas as cores diferentes.
O branco possui uma coloração levemente amarelada, lembrando verniz envelhecido.
Por conta da armadura peitoral, a articulação dos braços é um pouco comprometida, já que as ombreiras não sobem muito.
Como os outros Armored Riders, possui o seu logo nas solas dos pés.
Consegue olhar apenas alguns graus para cima, o que já é mais do que o Gaim consegue.
Como acessório do cinto, possui apenas o coldre para o Musou Saber.
O Sengoku Driver também possui a lâmina de corte funcional.
A figura vem com a lockseed de melão fechada, um Musou Saber, o Melon Defender com uma empunhadura alternativa e 4 pares de mãos, sendo 1 par espalmado, 1 par para segurar lockseeds, 1 par para segurar o Musou Saber e 1 par para segurar o Melon Defender.
A empunhadura do Melon Defender pode ser trocada, assim variando a posição do escudo.
Na série essa variação também existe, mas nunca foi dada uma explicação, sendo a mudança feita sempre nos cortes de cena.
Apesar do nome, o Melon Defender também pode ser usado para ataques, seja batendo, usando as partes pontiagudas ou até arremessando (e voltando) feito o escudo do Capitão América.
Foi graças a Takatora que Kouta percebeu que ser um Armored Rider não era brincadeira.
No filme Heisei Rider vs Showa Rider: Kamen Rider Taisen Yuki Kubota dublou o Kamen Rider Shin, provavelmente em uma piada, já que Takatora já se encontrava como Zangetsu Shin, um upgrade usando o Genesis Driver.
Durante sua infância, o Rider preferido de Yuki era o Kamen Rider Black Rx.

The box sticks to the series standard, this time with the window inspired by the melon lockseed (LS-04).
The base suit is simplistic and follows the same design of Gaim's base suit, with only the colors being different.

Because of the chest plate, the arm's articulations are a bit restricted, since the shoulder pads are only able to slightly lift.
Like the others Armored Riders, he has his own logo on the soles.
He is able to look a couple degrees upward, what is already more than Gaim is able.

The Sengoku Driver also has a functional Cutting Blade.
The figure comes with a closed melon lockseed, a Musou Saber, the Musou Defender with one alternative handle and 4 pairs of hands, 1 open pair, 1 to hold lockseeds, 1 to hold the Musou Saber and 1 to hold the Melon Defender.
The Melon Defender's handle can be changed, this way it alters how the shield is held.
On the show, this variation also exists, but there was never an explanation for why it happens, always occurring between scene cuts.

Despite its name, the Melon Defender can also be used for attacks, be it by hitting, using the ponty parts or even throwing (and it coming back) just like Captain America's shield.
Thanks to Takatora, Kouta realized that being an Armored Rider wasn't just fun and games.

ResponderExcluirPelo visto a Bandai conseguiu fazer um bom trabalho nesse modelo. As fotos com o fundo todo escuro e a luz batendo na figura ficaram lindas!
E eu nem me liguei nessas semelhanças entre o Zangetsu e o RX. O Kubota deve ter ficado bem contente com tudo isso.

ExcluirFicou um modelo muito bom, não diria que é o melhor de Gaim até agora, mas com toda certeza se destaca bem, já que branco não é uma cor tão comum pros Riders.
